Bill Morlan’s career with Electric Supply started more than 20 years ago. In January, 2008, he succeeded his father Jim Morlan as President of the family-owned business.
Bill started at Electric Supply in 1986 working in the warehouse after school. He graduated from University of Arizona in 1992 and moved to Washington, DC and Denver, CO.
In 1996, Bill returned to Electric Supply. Since then, he has been involved in nearly every aspect of the company, from Operations to IT to Marketing. Prior to becoming President, Bill spent the last five years running Electric Supply’s Sales Department.
Bill has been active in National Association of Electrical Distributors, serving on the Western Regional Council and the Board of the YET Committee, which seeks to develop the talent of the industry’s up-and-coming leaders. He was Chairman of the YET Committee in 2002.
Rey Rodriguez was already a fixture in the electrical industry in Phoenix when he joined Electric Supply, Inc. 20 years ago in October of 1988.
Rey is responsible for the counter/will call area, for the merchandising of the counter and for the accuracy of the inventory counts.
Rey’s experience and intelligence helps Electric Supply to stay on the leading edge of the industry.
Donna Holcomb began with Electric Supply, Inc. in 1984 pulling orders in the warehouse. With no previous background in electrical products, she proved to be a fast learner, and we and our customers could be sure that they would receive what they ordered. Donna progressed to waiting on customers at the counter, when in 1987 she left us to move to Texas with her husband who had taken on a new job opportunity.
In 1989 they returned to Phoenix and Donna returned to Electric Supply, Inc working in the warehouse. Today she is the Warehouse Manager, managing the day-to-day operations of shipping, receiving, delivery and stocking, and managing the emergencies that arise in responding to the needs of our customers. Today our warehouse is in better shape than it ever has been, thanks to Donna’s efforts.
Doug McQueen came to Electric Supply, Inc. in 1983 as an Inside Sales Representative. He had moved to Phoenix from Flagstaff, Arizona where he had been with Flagstaff Electric for several years.
Doug had acquired a wealth of knowledge and in 1988 moved to Outside Sales at Electric Supply, Inc. In this new position he was able to put his knowledge and desire to help his customers to even greater use.
Doug is fully versed in the full range of electrical products, but is especially talented in the application of control, distribution and automation equipment. Doug is a resource for all of the other Outside and Inside Sales personnel helping them to ask the right questions to get to the heart of the Customer’s needs.
When Diane Lowry began at Electric Supply, Inc. in 1984, all of the purchasing for the company was done on the weekend by the then-owner of Electric Supply, Inc., Ed Mann. Ed then turned the purchasing needs over to Diane and a fellow worker to do all of the actual ordering, tracking, and receiving during the week.
Today as Purchasing Manager, Diane is responsible for all of the Electric Supply, Inc. purchasing and inventory control. This has been possible due to Diane’s dedication, intelligence and knowledge of our computer system, which places the recommended stocking needs in front of her. Then Diane uses her knowledge to determine what really needs to be brought in to serve the needs
of our customers.
Kevin Alger began with Electric Supply, Inc. in 1981 as a Driver in the warehouse. Due to Kevin’s incredible energy and enthusiasm he learned more and more about the electrical products he dealt with and moved into Inside Sales.
In 1999, Kevin took on the responsibility of being the primary Outside Sales Representative for a select number of key accounts.
In addition to these customers, Kevin continues to service others as an Inside Sales Representative, and to direct the activities of the rest of the Inside Sales group.
